About the Undergraduate Research Conference

Each year undergraduate students of diverse backgrounds gather to present research, scholarship, and creative activity before their peers, faculty mentors, and the public. First held in 1995 for the four undergraduate campuses of the UMass system, the conference has grown to involve more than 600 students from nearly all of Massachusetts' public colleges and universities. Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to participate.

The Massachusetts Undergraduate Research Conference brings together college students from across the state to present their original work in oral and poster presentations.  It is an excellent opportunity to share your work, see the work of others in your field and other areas of study, and to give and receive valuable feedback from faculty and your peers.
