CHC Photographer Serena Pang took over our Instagram on Friday, March 25, to share what the day of CHC student is like.
Good morning, everyone! My name is Serena, and I am a student photographer for CHC. I'll be showing you around UMass today! What I love about UMass Amherst is that the campus is pretty much a small city in itself. Even early in the morning, you'll see lots of people walking around going from class to class. There's so much life on this campus, and I absolutely love it! #UMass #mydayinchc
Did you know that UMass Amherst has one of the most student-run businesses of any school (we have 7!)? Neither did I! I love the fact that even after being on this campus for four years, I learn new things every day about UMass! I absolutely love supporting student-run businesses, and my favorite place to get breakfast is People's Market. They have such amazing bagels and coffee, and everything is all natural and fair trade! #mydayinchc #UMass #peoplesmarket
One place that is near and dear to my heart is the Dubois Library. It's a great place to study, meet tutors, and it has a lot of resources for students! I can't believe that the Dubois Library is the tallest university library in the world! You can typically find me on floors LL, 3, 22, or 23. Where do you like to study? #mydayinchc #duboislibrary #UMass
UMass spaces and places-- another one of my favorite places to study is in the ILC! It's such a cool space with lots of tables and chairs for students to get work done! This is a brand new building, and it makes me so happy to see all the new construction going on at UMass! Even though I am a senior and will be graduating in May, I'm proud to say I am part of the UMass community that is constantly growing! #mydayinchc #UMass
