For the fourth time in five years, the University of Massachusetts Amherst has been named a "Top Producing Institution" of Fulbright awards among research colleges and universities.
The Fulbright Program is the flagship international exchange program of the U.S. government. It aims to promote understanding between the people of the U.S. and the people of other countries, through conducting research or teaching English.
Thirteen UMass Amherst students received scholarships from the institution, tying UMass Amherst with Dartmouth College and Duke University in the 15th position. The students are in countries across the globe, such as the United Kingdom, South Korea, the Phillippines, Brazil, Morocco, Norway, and many more.
