Frances Crowe will deliver her lecture, "50 Years of Working for Justice and Peace in the Valley" on the key victories that UMass Amherst students have achieved in the past 50 years of the non-violent struggle for justice.
Crowe is a peace activist, pacifist, and the author of "Finding My Radical Soul."
This talk is part of the Distinguished Lecture Series on Social Thought & Political Economy. The lecture series presents an opportunity for students to gain an interdisciplinary understanding on a variety of social issues.
