Jillian Schwedler of the Department of Political Science will lead a discussion on social media and its application as an organizing tool. With experience in Middle Eastern Studies and research on Jordan in particular, Schwedler will offer valuable insights on social media's relevance during the Arab Spring. History professor and Associate Dean of Commonwealth Honors College Dan Gordon will act as co-presenter and interviewer during the event.
