Energy is essential to our survival and a way of life. We may take the availability of energy for granted, yet our primary sources of energy come from fossil fuels, which are finite and are leading contributors to climate change. Tapping into renewable energy sources is essential for a clean energy future.

At this Pizza & Prof Professor Christine L. Crago will discuss the role of solar power in the clean energy transition, and the role of government incentives to support the solar market. We will also talk about opportunities to work on research related to sustainability. Professor Crago teaches in the Department of Resource Economics and in the Commonwealth Honors College. She is currently working on projects that examine incentives for solar power adoption and motivators of energy conservation.
