What's New At Honors: 09-06-2013

The Franklin County Regional Housing and Redevelopment Authority is seeking a  Research Assistant (RA) who will work with professional staff to develop a database of distressed residential properties in Orange, Montague and Greenfield.  RA will gather information and data about the properties and assist in communications with property owners that will result in the dwelling units returning to viable occupancy.  RA will work with program staff from FCHRA working in collaboration with the Registry of Deeds, staff from  the Attorney General Office Abandoned Housing Initiative, banks and municipal planners, health agents and building inspectors as we assist in developing strategies to bring the apartments back into use. 


Looking for an undergraduate student who is comfortable with MS Access (or similar database program) and who has access to reliable vehicle for occasional field work.  Would prefer an intern who could stay with the project for the full academic year. Internship is paid and 10-15 hours/week.
